Sell My Tickets
How It Works
Four steps to your first listing
-
Check eligibility
Log into your Tixr account and select an event in your Wallet. If you see a "Sell" button, you're good to go. If you don't, it means the event or ticket type you purchased isn't currently eligible for resale. That can change, so check back later.
-
Name your price
Choose the item you want to sell, then set a price. Before confirming, review the exact amount you'll be paid out if your item sells.
-
Go live
Your listing appears on the event page instantly— right where you purchased it. Nothing happens to your ticket until it sells, and you can still use it or transfer it in the meantime. Change your mind? Pull the listing or reprice it anytime before it sells.
-
Get paid
The moment someone buys your listing, your original ticket is voided and a brand-new one is issued to the new purchaser. No fakes. No disputes. Once you add a payout method, funds hit your bank account automatically 3–5 days after the event ends.
Payouts
How to get paid
Once your listing sells, you'll need to set up two things to receive your payout:
- A payout account— Connect your banking details in the Payout tab in your Tixr account so payment reaches you when your ticket sells.
- A card on file— Make sure you have a credit or debit card saved in your Tixr account. This is standard practice across resale platforms, and it's only used if a refund needs to be processed after your payout has been issued.
By listing, you agree to Tixr's Reseller Terms.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I resell my tickets?

Listing is free. A seller fee is deducted from your payout when your ticket sells. You'll see your exact payout— after fees— before you confirm your listing.
Why don't I see a Sell button?
Not all events or ticket types are eligible for resale, and event organizers can enable or restrict it at any time. If you don't see the Sell button, check back— eligibility can change. See full eligibility requirements →
Can I sell my Tixr ticket on a third-party site?
Tixr is not affiliated with any third-party resale platforms. Some electronic delivery methods— like contactless (NFC) tickets and rotating QR codes— can only be delivered through Tixr and can't be exported or transferred to another platform. The only way to send them to others is through your Tixr account.
When do I get paid?
Payouts are sent 3–5 days after the event ends, to the bank account connected in your Wallet. You'll need a payout account set up to receive funds— if you haven't done that yet, you'll be prompted after your ticket sells. Set up your payout account →
What's the difference between selling and transferring a ticket on Tixr?
Transferring sends your ticket directly to someone you know— free of charge. Selling lists your ticket on the event page so any fan can buy it at the price you set. If you want to get paid, sell it. If you just want to pass it along, transfer it. How to transfer a ticket →
What happens if the event is canceled?
If the event is canceled before your listing sells, your listing will be removed. If you successfully resold your ticket prior to the event taking place, the buyer will be refunded. Read the Reseller Terms →
