Through the Forest we walked, searching for our place to dance and let go. For a moment forgetting about the outside world and immersing ourselves amongst laughter, nature and friendship. Forbidden Forest was born.

Founded in 2016, Forbidden Forest is a magical place where we unite to celebrate our love of music, nature and dance.

Following a record-breaking sellout show in 2024, Forbidden Forest Festival is back with a HUGE lineup for 2025 taking place on 29 May - 1 June 2025. Our stunning home, Belvoir Castle (meaning beautiful view) is located in hundreds of acres of lush forest, surrounded by rolling hills as far as the eye can see and steeped in history dating back to 1067.

Featuring over fifty of the hottest electronic DJs from across the globe, including 17 Forest firsts, the 2025 edition of the unique event looks to be gearing up for a weekend like no other.

Aussie powerhouse FISHER, renowned for his massive dance anthems including Take It Off and Atmosphere, makes his Forbidden debut, joining CamelPhat, the scouse duo behind the Grammy-nominated track Cola and the iconic Skepta, who brings the beats of his successful house label Mas Tiempo to the Forest for the first time.

House royalty Gorgon City and Paradise’s very own Jamie Jones join the bill for 2025, bringing their signature sounds to the Forest alongside rising Manc producer Josh Baker and Eastenderz resident ALISHA.

Forbidden Forest wouldn’t be complete without an unbeatable Drum & Bass lineup and the 2025 edition gives us one of the heaviest around. Dubstep mainstays Skream & Benga perform for the first time, whilst Nottingham local Bru-C returns to the Forest with industry heavyweights Hedex, Hybrid Minds, Charlie Tee, Wilkinson, Sub Focus and K Motionz to name a few.

Adam Ten, Badger, DXNBY, Enzo Is Burning, Gaskin, HoneyLuv, Locklead, LP Rhythm, Ozzie Guven, Rossi., Special Request, Stella Bossi and Yung Singh make up the remaining Forbidden Forest first-timers, all ready to give us the festival experience of a lifetime.

Together with our Forbidden Family, we have created an environment where all are equal and all are united by the love of electronic music.

Welcome to Forbidden Forest.
