Meet the instructors!
Born and raised in Sweden, I have always been drawn to art. Growing up, I took every chance I had to create, and I painted just about anything, anytime. My ancestry is French, from Lyon, and I have always been influenced by French culture, art, and lifestyle. Now, after having lived for 25 years in Colorado, I am drawing inspiration from all three countries in my art. I love the open, vast landscape of Sweden, the stunning and scenic mountains of Colorado, and the picturesque villages of Provence.
My art style is representational, and I adore the medium of watercolor. The unforeseen and unplanned nature of this medium is challenging, and I believe that is a major part of its appeal. My favorite objects are landscapes and portraits, and recently I started exploring urban sketching and travel journaling.
I have had the opportunity to show my art at exhibits at the Historic Museum in Breckenridge, the Art Stroll in Silverthorne, the Red Buffalo in Silverthorne, the Villa Ingeborg in Cagnes sur Mer, France, and at the Ventimiglia Tourist Information Marketing Expo, Italy, in 2023.
