The Rumpeppers -
We the Rumpeppers are a band formed in central Oregon that play a warm blend of rock, indie funk and psychedelia. We aim to melt faces and warm hearts on and off of the stage. Zeus Guelfex on vocals, Paul Streichan on guitar, Scott Kanavel on bass and Logan Anderson on drums. When it comes to music we turn on, tune in, turn up and drop out.
BendreTheGiant -
BendreTheGiant is the vessel for Ben Estrada's music. Estrada has been recording and releasing music as a solo artist since 2020, but 2024's Get Well Soon EP, released to local and regional acclaim, marked the first time he brought in outside collaborators.
Estrada's latest work stems from his relocation to Portland from Seattle in 2023, and his reconnection with keyboardist Delos Erickson, an old high school friend. The duo has arranged Estrada's solo electronic songs to be played by a full band, and one of those songs is BendreTheGiant's forthcoming single, Nobody Knows.
Lyrically, Nobody Knows is a stream-of-conscious narrative that was inspired by a dark Seattle night. "I wrote 'Nobody Knows' while living in Seattle, across from Lake Washington" says Estrada. One night when I couldn’t sleep I decided to take a walk to the lake and write down my thoughts. The lyrics are apathetic and from the point of view of a lost musician."
Nobody Knows was recorded by Get Well Soon producer John Queant, with production assistance from Yu Kiatvongcharoen (Foamboy, Julia Logue) . While the first half of the track sounds almost buoyant, the final two minutes veers into an abrupt, drug-inspired beat switch and an otherwordly, virtuosic synth solo.
Nobody Knows will be available on all streaming platforms August 9, 2024
Palo Sopraño -
Palo Sopraño is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter Ryan Pickard. A mix of Indie Rock, Jangle Pop and psychedelia are all cooked together deliciously in this high energy 4 piece band.
