SANTA SLAYED is La Bon Burlesque’s most interactive show to date–one half an immersive investigative experience, one half the sultry and silly performances you’ve come to anticipate from us. The story will be developing all month, so buy tickets early for the full experience!

A solemn hush has fallen over the cozy, snow-nestled town of Bend, Oregon. Its citizens face a gruesome truth: around the world, children above the 44th parallel woke to find stuffed stockings and stacks of gifts. Further south, children awoke to confusion–and tragedy. Santa’s journey had come to an abrupt end just east of the Cascades, and he will never make another.
Bend residents gather in the town square: to seek solace, and to demand justice. Santa’s untimely demise was no accident, and the culprit must live among them. The townspeople quickly narrow their suspicions down: these morbidly mysterious, seriously sexy individuals stand accused of first-degree murder. They all have a rock-solid alibi–but they all harbor a secret motivation as well. Although they stand accused of a serious crime, the shady sirens implicated in this scandal have chosen to represent themselves through erotic performance art–trial by dance. It’s up to you, the audience, to examine the evidence, collaborate with your neighbors, and determine which femme fatale is guilty of this heinous fa-la-la-la-fatality.
We’re looking for six individuals who want to play minor character roles in the audience. Each audience character will be given a backstory and a task to carry out during the show as the plot progresses and are heavily encouraged to dress in character. And if adoration and acclaim aren’t enough of a reward, you’ll get access to privileged information and–if you’ve been very good all year–might take home a gift as well. Please limit one audience character per person.
Buy tickets early for special access to clues as the mystery unfolds all month long. Keep your eyes peeled around town–the killer could be hiding in plain sight. Each VIP table will receive an additional clue along with a surprise treat.
