Gnome is a 3-piece instrumental stoner rock band from Antwerp: guitar, bass and drums. With its odd rhythms and silly melodies, this mysterious little creature may look funny at times, but it can also kick you in the shins with some nasty dirty riffs and heavy grooves. Gnome started out in 2016 when members of Ivory for Elephants and Undskyld wanted to express their more psychedelic ideas with lots of fuzz, crazy fast riffs, heavy grooves and long winding structures. Music for the mind and the body.
Things started rolling for Gnome with an opening slot for Desert Storm at Kavka in Antwerp and a shared bill with 70’s rock legends Bang! and Bathsheba for Orange Factory in Leuven. The first Gnome full album “Father of Time”, recorded early 2018 in Studio Jupiter, is awaiting to take over the world!
