Colin Patrick Harper hails from the tiny island of Bermuda. In the music industry, he is known asthe reggae artist Collie Buddz. Buddz was born on August 21, 1984 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from high school, he attended Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL, where hedecided to study studio engineering. Upon graduating from the top in his class at Full Sail in2006, Buddz began looking for work in the recording industry as a performer or producer. Oneof his first major gigs was workingwith recording star Shaggy on the single "Mad Mad World"from Shaggy's new album at the time entitled Intoxication, which was released in 2007. Thatwas the same year Collie released his self-titled debut album with Sony Music with tracks suchas ‘Come Around’ and ‘Blind To You’. The album was a success and well-received by critics.WWE (World Wrestling Enterprises) fans would immediately recognize Buddz's voice from theentrance theme ("SOS") for WWE superstar wrestler Kofi Kingston, which was included onthe2008 compilation WWE The Music, Vol. 8. Over the next year, he would continue making guestappearances on the works of many other artists.

It is no small coincidence that his stage name "Buddz" is slang for marijuana. There have beenphotographs takenof the artist holding bongs and other pot-smoking paraphernalia over theyears. Of course, other reggae artists such as Bob Marley have made weed seem an essential part of the reggae lifestyle. When not working in the studio, Collie found himself selling outvenue after venue on one of his many exhaustive tours. Now with new music being releasedand a good reputation under his belt, Buddz finds himself playing at some of the biggest reggaemusic festivals all across the world such as, Reggae Rise Up, One Love New Zealand, andCalifornia Roots Music Festival.

At the end of the decade, Buddz started his own record label called Harper Digital. In 2011, hewould finally release his second album entitled Playback followed shortly with the Blue DreamzEP. Buddz would then go on to release his next album, Good Life, fully independently throughHarper Digital with features from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Jody Highroller, and the Bay Area’svery own, P-Lo.

More recently, he has finished up his fully self produced album Hybrid which came out in thespring of 2019. Hybrid is Collie Buddz's third full-length album. The album is fully produced byBuddz and features two tracks with Russ, as well as tracks with Tech N9ne, B Young,Stonebwoy, Dizzy Wright, and Johnny Cosmic. Thefirst five songs on the album have beenreleased and highly praised as singles. The FADER called "Love & Reggae" a "quintessentialreggae jam," and Billboard praised "Bank" feat. Russ & B Young, claiming "Buddz effortlessly[flowed] on the self-produced melody." Meanwhile, "Bounce It" featuring Ghanian Grammynominee Stonebwoy has gotten radio play around the world including on Sirius XM Pitbull'sGlobalization channel, and Buddz's latest single "Show Love" has quickly earned radio play onSirius XM The Joint and was added to Spotify's elite New Music Friday playlist.

Florida based Reggae/Rock band Kash’d Out have been hustlin’ hard since the beginning. After founders Greg Shields (lead vocals) and Jackson Hauserman (guitar) met in a studio session, it wasn’t long before Kash’d Out’s clever lyrics and tasteful guitar riffs were complimented by the unique bass lines of Joey Brohawn, and rhythmic precision of drummer Marshall Hearne.

Kash’d Out quickly caught the attention of Hawaiian favorites Pepper, who signed the band to their label LAW Records and released “The Hookup” – Kash’d Out’s first full-length album. Prior to its release, KO hit the road with Pepper and Less Than Jake, which helped the album climb the Billboard Reggae Charts. Since then, Kash’d Out has been no stranger to the open road. Storming the nation with an abundance of full U.S. tours under their belt, KO has supported genre heavyweights such as Collie Buddz, The Expendables, Iration and headlined multiple US tours of their own. The band’s drive and passion has landed them in the line up of Reggae’s most esteemed festivals such as Reggae Rise Up Florida/Utah/Maryland, California Roots, Dry Diggings and One Love.

Kash’d Out’s most recent album, “Butter” displays their diversity and mission into their own music path. The band has remained steadfast to originality, yet continues to evolve, revealing different sides to their sound.

Kash’d Out is excited to continue touring the country with a high-energy show and a genuine love for sharing the music they’ve made with anyone and everyone! Catch them in a town near you by visiting www.kashdout.com/tour-dates
