As co-founder and lead singer of Los Angeles-based The Growlers, Brooks Nielsen led the band to worldwide acclaim, growing their fan base with eight studio albums, multiple international tours, and their own decade-long Beach Goth festival. In 2021, Nielsen began collaborating with producer Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko’s “Mad World”) and other guest musicians on a new chapter of work. One Match Left, Nielsen’s debut solo album, will be released as a 20-song double LP on June 3, 2022.
