✿ Cosmic Swamp Americana ✿ Katie Skene is a Roots Rock / Americana singer, guitarist and songwriter, whose music blends the twang of southern rock with the cosmic sounds of California. Originally from Tallahassee, FL and currently based in Ventura, CA, Katie's music embodies the melding of her Southern roots with a decade spent on the West Coast. Through the prism of her evocative vocals, personal songwriting and compelling guitar work, Katie's music blends electric swamp blues with jam-band psychedelia.​Katie received a B.M. in Popular Music Performance from the University of Southern California. Since graduating in 2015, Katie has worked primarily on the West Coast, performing in the Jam-Band & Americana scene and collaborating with many legendary artists and musicians. She currently fronts the Katie Skene Band and other projects include jam-band supergroup California Kind (with John Molo, Pete Sears, Barry Sless & Rob Barraco) and a collaboration with instrumental world-funk music band, TV Broken 3rd Eye Open.

All shows at The Venice West are 21+ only, unless otherwise stated. Valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry. Guests who cannot provide proof of age will not be admitted and no refunds will be issued.

Parking

Please note that residential/street parking is the only parking available near the venue. We strongly encourage rideshare services (Uber, Lyft, etc.) for a safe and convenient experience.

In the event of a cancellation without a rescheduled date, a full refund will be automatically issued to the original form of payment.
