Common People is an alternative rock band comprised of Nicky Winegardner (vocals), Cormac Cadden (drums), Konrad Ulich (bass, vocals), Asher Thomson (guitar), and Sam Belzer (guitar). Formed in Los Angeles in 2022, the band quickly began writing and performing local shows together. Initial demos caught the attention of Cage The Elephant co-founder and guitarist Brad Shultz, leading to the band signing with his Parallel Vision label in partnership with Big Loud Rock. In 2025, the quintet released a series of singles and joined Cage The Elephant and The Criticals on their respective tours. This year, Common People will continue their touring momentum and join Rainbow Kitten Surprise and The Bends on the road, while also making their festival debut at Innings Festival in February. Their forthcoming debut EP, Games, will be released later this Spring

Age Requirement

All shows at The Venice West are 21+ only, unless otherwise stated. Valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry. Guests who cannot provide proof of age will not be admitted and no refunds will be issued.

Parking

Please note that residential/street parking is the only parking available near the venue. We strongly encourage rideshare services (Uber, Lyft, etc.) for a safe and convenient experience.

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. 

In the event of a cancellation without a rescheduled date, a full refund will be automatically issued to the original form of payment.
