His lyrics range from the whimsical, political and humorous to the dark and poetic.
The current backing band has been together for several hundred shows and features Eric "Dutch" Suoninen (guitar), Lelah Simon (bass) and Shane Considine (drums).

He is arguably one of the best guitar players in town. Ray Sadolsky holds down the Bass grooves and has embraced The Bakersfield Sound like no other bass player from New York City. Dave Wulfekuehler will be keeping the beat going on drums. Dave was hired by Buck Owens in 2002 to be a Buckaroo and has played behind many Country Music greats.
