A new name is guaranteed to appear on the famous old trophy when Halesworth Town take on Mutford & Wrentham in the final of this season’s JLS Catering Group Suffolk Senior Cup.

Neither side have previously played in the final in the long history of the competition.

Halesworth Town, have just completed a highly successful first campaign at Step 6 of the Non-League pyramid.

After four successive Lowestoft & District League Division One titles, Mutford & Wrentham have taken the Fosters Solicitors Anglian Combination by storm, winning five divisions in a row.

The match will be the last in charge for manager Ryan Grimmer, who will be switching to Beccles Town in the summer.
