Salma Hindy is a first generation Egyptian-Canadian Comedian. With her fast rise to comedy, Salma has opened for Ken Jeong, Maz Jobrani, Ramy Youssef, Beth Stelling, James Adomian, and has most recently opened for Chelsea Handler on her Peoples Choice Awards Winning Tour: Vaccinated & Horny. She has performed at the Just for Laughs New Faces Festival in Montreal, JFL NorthWest, the SF Sketchfest, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the Women in Comedy Festival in Boston, the Chicago Women Funny Fest and the New York Arab-American Comedy Festival. Salma will be featured as a series regular in Ramy Youssef’s upcoming #1 HAPPY FAMILY for Amazon and A24 where she also contributed in the writers room. She has a half-hour dark comedy series in development with CBC along with a half-hour comedy series in development with Bell media.
