Oh Freedom Festival is a flagship event in the Black History Heritage calendar, celebrating music’s power to unite and liberate. Through musical storytelling, we take audiences on a journey through gospel, blues, and the roots of African-American music, the foundation of most genres that exist today.

With authenticity, inspiration, and creativity at its heart, Oh Freedom Festival honours gospel as a storybook of struggle, faith, and triumph, echoing the voices that shaped the sound of freedom. Featuring world-class artists who’ve shared the stage with Tina Turner, Elton John, and Stevie Wonder, the festival spans 4 days, 4 stunning venues in central London, and welcomes 2,400 guests to immerse themselves in the 1800s Southern US music and culture.
