Hotfix is an alternative rock group formed in 2017 in the basement laundry room of a band house known as "Area 51" on the east mountain of Hamilton, Ontario. Known for their unique sound and electrifying performances, Hotfix is rapidly gaining a reputation for being Southern Ontario's most reputable up-and-comers.Taking influence from the many differing acts of the past as well as their modern day inspiration, Hotfix manages to put a fresh spin on the Alt-Rock, Groove rock and pop categories. Starting their days circa 2017 as a cover/wedding band playing Motown and pop hits to bar-goers, they managed to record and release one single, 2018's "Somewhere To Go", before the pandemic lockdown forced the group to disband in 2020. In 2023 the band reunited with an intent to release their own music and leave the covers behind. In early 2024, they released their debut EP, Calm, Cool & Anxious. They are currently in the studio recording their next collection of songs.
