School Night, the concert series hosted in Toronto, Los Angeles and more, takes it on the road for a collab concert presented at Mills Hardware by Fresh Up. For the past 14 years, School Night has been the go-to live music series for fans and industry alike to find their new favorite artists. Created by KCRW DJ Chris Douridas and Matt Goldman, and initially launched in Hollywood before going global, the series has proven its tastemaker sensibility by booking some of the greatest artists in the world, alongside breaking new bands, often for their first shows ever. Artists who have graced the stage include Moby, Alt-J, Hozier, Miguel, Billie Eilish, BØRNS, Capital Cities, Alt-J, Dua Lipa, Haim, Icona Pop, Hayley Kiyoko, Sofi Tukker, Moses Sumney, Stevie Nicks, RÜFÜS DU SOL, ODESZA, Bruno Major, Michael Kiwanuka, Dermot Kennedy, Gary Clark Jr, Lizzo, LANY, Bryce Vine, The Head and The Heart, Yellow Days, Amy Shark, Freya Ridings, El-P, Andra Day, Bryce Vine, Albert Hammond Jr., Chromeo, and Wild Belle. What began as a weekly Monday night show in the heart of Hollywood at Bardot now also is a monthly showcase in Nashville, Toronto, London, and Sydney!

Ro Joaquim is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter and spoken word poet who is ready to take the world by storm. Infusing influences of new wave, soul and RnB, Joquim’s discography weaves together a collection of sound that’s an entirely refreshing and unexpected twist on old favourites. Tunnelling deep into retro-soul revival, Joaquim aims to elevate the smooth sounds of soul to modern classic status. The textured production and impeccable song-crafting bring to life richly narrated perspectives on spiritual growth and self-identity. Although Ro Joaquim hails from the UK, Toronto has already claimed him as their own — that’s probably why his visage adorns a one-storey mural in the downtown core. From production to songwriting to preforming and more, Duckai is a multi-talented artist from Hamilton, Ontario. Bearing the mask for the first time in his 2021 DUCK! EP, his history of creativity presented itself in the form of four gratifyingly unique tracks. Since then, singles such as 2021’s "Stuck" and 2022’s "Stillwater" and "Ghostly Girl" have been feeding the flock and moving the crowds at shows and festivals alike. Duckai’s now released debut album Future Vision sees him taking his wings to new heights with an eight-track concept album filled with gorgeous production, thought-provoking lyrics and expressive vocal performances, all brought to light by himself.

A Reggae-Inspired artist based in Toronto Canada, Blk Orchid is a multifaceted creative, who has displayed exceptional writing and vocals to her own productions. Her records are genre-bending and innovative. A semifinalist in the 2017 “Battle Of The Beatmakers”, Orchid has produced alongside Sly & Robbie and has worked with artists such as DeeWunn, Chelsea Stewart, Red Rat and Maestro Fresh Wes to name a few. She is the founder and curator of the “That’s a Dope Sample” music project, where she teaches about the art of sampling, breaks down samples and the interpolations in the various genres of music. She partnered with Maizy F alongside other Toronto-based talents for a the 13th and 14th edition of the 6ix Female Cypher, producing the beat for this year's installment. She produced Red Rat's first summer anthem, This Summer released in June 2021. She has also produced 2 songs from Canadian Godfather of Hip Hop, Maestro Fresh Wes' new kids album released in November 2021, which is nominated for best children's album of the year at the 2022 Juno Awards.

Spookyguava is an indie hip hop artist based in Hamilton, Ontario. Combining catchy hooks and deep raps, compared to artists like Twenty One Pilots, Nav and Ghost Mountain.
