Pocketship is a Buffalo-born future-funk / disco dance collective built for movement — deep grooves, stacked vocals, and nonstop momentum from the first downbeat to the last. Designed first and foremost for movement, the band delivers high-energy live shows that balance tight musicianship with all-out celebration—turning rooms into packed dance floors and crowds into part of the experience. Made up of local industry veterans, Pocketship brings together musicians with decades of combined experience performing on stages across Western New York and beyond. Each member comes from a deep background in live music, contributing to a sound that’s polished, powerful, and locked-in—while never losing the joy and spontaneity that make a great dance party feel electric. With layered vocals, a groove-driven rhythm section, and a clear focus on connection, Pocketship’s shows blur the line between concert and dance floor.
