Leagues Cup

Leagues Cup is an annual, Concacaf-sanctioned competition that brings together 36 clubs — all 18 LIGA MX teams and 18 qualified MLS clubs — in a fully interleague format. Now in its fourth year, the tournament builds on the momentum of a defining year for soccer across North America, deepens the regional rivalry, and awards qualification to Concacaf Champions Cup, with the top three teams securing qualifications spots and the Leagues Cup champion advancing directly to the Round of 16.

PayPal Park is a soccer-specific outdoor stadium located in San Jose, California, adjacent to Mineta San Jose International Airport. The venue opened in 2015 and serves as the permanent home of the San Jose Earthquakes.

The stadium holds 18,000 fans for MLS matches and features some of the most distinctive amenities in American soccer, including the Scoreboard Bar — known as LOBINA — which stretches over 310 linear feet, making it the largest exterior bar in North America. The Habbas Law Epicenter fan zone includes the Kids Zone with free inflatables and interactive games, food trucks at every home match, and the Epicenter shop for official Quakes merchandise.

Bag Policy & Entry Requirements

PayPal Park enforces a clear bag policy for all events. Bags not in compliance must be returned to your vehicle or stored at the free bag check trailer located along Earthquakes Way. All approved bags are subject to inspection upon entry. For bag policy questions, text 408-909-GOAL.

Permitted Bags:

• Clear bags no larger than 12” x 12” x 6” (including clear backpacks, clear fanny packs, clear purses, and clear bags)
• One-gallon clear plastic zip-lock style bags
• Small non-clear clutch bag or fanny pack no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”
• Diaper bags with a child present (one per family, subject to inspection)

Key Prohibited Items: Weapons of any kind; non-clear or oversized bags; professional camera equipment (tripods, lenses longer than 8 inches); drones; strollers; umbrellas; selfie sticks; metal or glass water bottles; glass or plastic food containers; incendiary devices (fireworks, smoke bombs); noisemakers and air horns (except in designated supporters sections); outside food and beverages (exception: one factory-sealed clear plastic water bottle per person; small individual snacks in clear bags); laser pointers; signs, banners, or flags larger than 3’ x 5’; smoking items including vapes and e-cigarettes; hoverboards; aerosol cans.

Outside Food & Beverage: One factory-sealed, clear plastic water bottle per person is permitted (sparkling/carbonated water is not allowed). Small individual snacks in clear plastic bags are permitted. No coolers, large food items (hoagies, fast food, bags of chips), or other outside beverages are allowed.

Re-Entry Policy: No re-entry at PayPal Park. In an emergency, contact a gate supervisor who may authorize re-entry at the same gate.

Smoking Policy: Smoking — including vapes and e-cigarettes — is strictly prohibited at PayPal Park. Offenders will be ejected.

Accessibility

PayPal Park is fully ADA compliant with accessible seating available throughout all areas and price levels of the stadium.

ADA Parking: Located in the Audi Lot off Newhall Drive. Valid ADA placard and registration must be presented upon arrival. ADA parking is $30.

ADA Gate Entrance: Audi Gate, near Section 113 on the closed end of the stadium adjacent to the Audi Parking Lot. Also accessible to Audi Club, Midfield Club, Scoreboard Club, Sky Lounge, Suite members, and Terrace Tables holders.

ADA Seating: Accessible seating is available throughout all price levels, fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Contact the front office at 408-556-7700 for assistance with seat selection.

Family Restrooms: Located behind Sections 103 and 126, and at Sections 111 and 115 inside PayPal Park.

Nursing: A Mamava nursing pod is available behind Section 126. Text 408-909-GOAL for the access code.

Service Animals: Trained service animals are permitted upon verification by entry staff. Service animals in training are not permitted without prior authorization from the San Jose Earthquakes.
