Signature Brew x Turncoat Billy present...

A special Sunday matinee with special local guests

Turncoat Billy was born in a brewery in Tottenham in 2022 before making E17 their spiritual home. Blending the 60s hypnotic guitar sound of Luke Jacob with the observational wit and melody of front man Jonny Pickles, the band made waves at Christmas 2024 with their single “Snow In Walthamstow” that made #27 in the iTunes chart and #5 in their Alternative list and won a large number admirers with national radio play and celebrity endorsements. Influences are far and wide from Belle & Sebastian to The Byrds, Creedence, Dylan, The Wave Pictures, Little Barrie and everything in between. Lyrically, Pickles celebrates the mundane with an observational charm inspired by the likes of Paul Heaton and his heroes Chas & Dave. Known for their entertaining live sets, the group have had a busy couple of years supporting Joel Stoker on his UK tour along with The Rifles at iconic venues along the way such as Kentish Town Forum and The 100 Club.

Glenn Hodge (Banned) is an upbeat, soulful storyteller who blends the candid wit of Billy Bragg with the rollicking charm of Chas & Dave. His folky, foot-tapping sound and infectious energy make him a must-see live, delivering songs that capture life’s stories
with warmth and irreverent humour.

Initially formed in London over ten years ago between friends at school, Lahara Connection have now evolved into a band of prolific songwriters with guitar music at their core.

Consisting of Sam Slaughter, Adam Miller, Troy Cook , and Jack Hewitt, the band explore a sense of hopeful melancholy combined with atmospheric, psychedelic instrumentals. Inspired by a vast range of music from across the globe, Lahara Connection seek to incorporate
unique sounds and production styles into their music. Each member of the band equally contributes to the song writing and production of each song. This results in a powerful and interesting end product that seems often familiar on first listen but entirely
unique at the same time.

Singer Songwriter LD Williams marries his unique guitar skills with a soulful cockney melody conjuring up evocative tunes that draw upon the best of Van Morrison, Bill Withers, Weller and Dylan. The troubadour returns to Signature Brew after supporting The
Rifles there last summer.

Emmélin is a danish born London based composer and musician. She writes in a Nordic sphere revealing the thoughts we don’t want to share. Her music is a reflection of the everyday rat race in modern society and how we place ourselves in it. With a haunting
voice and melancholic melodies she creates a live performance that makes time stand still.
