Event Information

Royal Windsor Horse Show is the UK’s largest outdoor Horse Show and takes place in the private grounds of Windsor Castle. Windsor is one of the UK’s premier showing events, with action across five arenas

For 2026 the Show will host a range of top-level sport:

CSI5* International Show Jumping, including the EUR500,000 Rolex Grand Prix
CAIO4* International Carriage Driving Nations Cup and World Cup Qualifier
1*, 2* and 3* Endurance
National Classes in Show Jumping, with fences up to 1.40m and including an U25 competition

There are numerous exciting showcases and displays which take place at the Show, including the Defender Dressage Masterclass, The Musical Drive of the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, the DAKS Pony Club Mounted Games and The Defender Shetland Pony Grand National. There will also be international equestrian displays taking place in the main The Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Castle Area.

The site itself includes an extensive Shopping Village and there are many different places to sit and eat. It is the only time of year the public can access the private grounds of the Castle.

During the day there are five different arenas in operation, housing the many varied equestrian classes. Access to all these arenas is included in a General Entry ticket, however guaranteed seating is not.

New for 2026:

The Royal Windsor Horse Show is streamlining its visitor experience by merging its five previous activity hubs into one dynamic destination: the Talk Horse Entertainment Hub. This centralised space will bring together everything guests loved from the individual hubs - live interviews, interactive experiences, and behind-the-scenes insights - into a single, vibrant location. The new format promises greater energy, easier navigation, and a more immersive experience for all attendees.
