She discovered yoga at her local community center in 2011, finally giving it a try after some friends became certified instructors. The addiction to yoga happened when she was able to find help with an eating disorder and anxiety, and her life has continued to change with her practice ever since. Emily has enjoyed flow and power flow, restorative, yin, and hatha classes since 2011, and became a 200 hour RYT at a training program hosted at The BE a few years ago. Emily believes movement is therapy, and let's be real, we could all use a little. She believes every body can benefit from the practice of self-love and awareness, and by empowering people through yoga, we can change the world little by little.
