On recordings, Posthuman is an electronic music duo consisting of cousins Richard Bevan and Joshu Doherty with dozens of EPs, LPs and remixes to their release credit.
Josh also DJs under the Posthuman name and is a highly sought-after DJ, playing regularly throughout Europe and now USA.
Josh is an authority on Acid House music and its history and regarded amongst the foremost champions and DJs of the UK Acid House scene.
Posthuman established themselves in the early 2000s as part of the London IDM scene with releases on the acclaimed SKAM label and their own Seed Records. Josh established and runs the Balkan Vinyl record label in addition to the highly collectable, vinyl-only, 'I Love Acid' record label. Since 2007, Josh has run the 'I Love Acid club night, named after the track by Luke Vibert, who features regularly at the night and on the record label.
