Castro Magazine Gala

On August 27, Castro Magazine returns to Public Works for the release of Issue No. 2, bringing together queer art, music, fashion, and nightlife for an unforgettable evening.

More than a magazine launch, the Castro Magazine Gala is where San Francisco's queer creative community comes together. What began as an independent publication has grown into a platform documenting the city's queer community through photography, interviews, and storytelling.

The evening serves as a gathering for the artists, DJs, performers, photographers, designers, and readers who continue to shape that story.

The evening unfolds across two simultaneous musical experiences. Outdoors, a live orchestra performs from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM, creating an open-air classical experience under the night sky. Inside, Public Works transforms into a full-scale rave, where the Main Stage runs from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM featuring

Beverly Chills

Giovanni Sainz

Maliciel

Sicaria

Tony OMFG

Whether you're enjoying live music under the night sky or losing yourself on the dance floor, the gala invites guests to experience two distinct worlds in one unforgettable night.

Guests will also be among the first to see Castro Magazine Issue No. 02 and experience the stories, photography, and artists featured in our newest edition.

Dress Code: You Are the Cover of Issue No. 03.

Dress as if you're stepping onto the front page of Castro Magazine. Walk the red carpet, have your portrait captured by our team of three photographers, and you could become the cover of Issue No. 03. Every guest becomes part of the story.
