On October 30th, ECHELON presents DUST TILL DAWN IV: PROJECT MAYHEM at EVE SLC, featuring performances from ASHEZ and KAIPORA with local support from MARF of The Dirtnap.

This year’s theme takes its inspiration from Fight Club and the sinister reality of living in a surveillance state that watches our every move, records every transaction, and harvests every keystroke while systematically turning the private details of our lives into a permanent record we never consented to having created; one that can be stored, sold, and weaponized against us.

Channeling the rebellious spirit of Palahniuk’s Project Mayhem, this year’s Dust Till Dawn turns that tension into an act of creative defiance; a celebration of anonymity, disorder, and the freedom to exist beyond the watchful eye. For one night, ECHELON becomes HQ for the decentralized resistance: a brief interruption in the machinery of surveillance, where the point isn’t to document the night, but to disappear into it.

Come disguised. Not just because it’s Halloween, but because anonymity has become something of a lost art. Leave the version of yourself built for observation at home: the profile, the persona, the carefully curated record of who you want the world to think you are. Inside, get lost in the crowd, dance with strangers, and become something the modern world increasingly refuses to let you be: anonymous.
