About Scary Scare:

Scary Scare is a Garage Rock/Punk band based out of the general San Francisco Bay Area. Spawned in the dark depths of the early pandemic days in 2020, they aim to create fast and fun aggressive music with dark and satirical motifs throughout their lyrics. Even touching on the absurd, they’re well known for their popular single “I Smoke Ants”. By the time people began to emerge from their pandemic holes, Scary Scare had a full band assembled, and had released their first single “Devil’s Regret”; a song where the protagonist feels he is so disliked that he claims “they don’t want me in Hell”. It was off to the races from there, and by their first show they had enough material for their first project, aptly named “First Fright”.  They steadily played shows and recorded everything themselves in a garage or a bedroom, releasing “First Fright” just over a year after their first show. They’ve steadily gained more and more traction and attention, having completely sold out one show, and coming within inches of selling out others. They’re now recording their second album while playing shows around the San Francisco Bay Area, where you can hear their newest unreleased songs in person. Be warned: they’re the least scary of all the scary bands in the land, and you’ll walk away from their music highly entertained and craving more!

About Nina Durango:

Nina Durango are three sweet beautiful boys from the hills of Jamrock. With Princeton diplomas in hand they met at a Wawa franchise their common friend inherited in 2005. When the hoagies became stale they pursued their common interest in midwest indie rock. When not playing out they can be found separating gently used Spencer's gift cards from abandoned mall dumpsters somewhere in the valley.

About Marika Christine (Solo):

Marika Christine is inspired by the power of tenderness. Her music creates a whimsical atmosphere to navigate the highs and lows of life. Sonic influences include Laurel Canyon folk, modern art rock, and the creative buzzing that can be heard throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
