Steve Lands - "Modus Annon"

Building on the success of his "Rearranging the Planets", trumpeter & composer Steve Lands premieres a new work celebrating the two celestial bodies most present in our lives: The Sun & The Moon.

This is Modus-Annon. The consistency with which we humans experience El Sol and La Luna is truly powerful, and Steve Lands seeks to use that ebb and flow to set the tone for what will be his most ambitious work. Featuring an all-star band of New Orleans talent including Shea Pierre, Alfred Jordan Jr., Amber Rene, Max Moran, John Maestas, Gladney, and Rex Gregory. 

Lands believes art is a reflection of nature. Modus-Annon is the reflection of dusk and dawn, of light and shadow, of the warmth of the day and the cool of the night. It is something that he believes connects every creed and color of person in some way.
