In this workshop, participants explore projecting images and visual content onto surfaces or objects! This includes hands on demonstrations of various techniques, uses, and software options to manipulate projected images, determining projection areas or fabricating custom surfaces, and mapping options using different projector setups. Participants will have an opportunity to record and edit a short video as part of the workshop, which can then be projected onto structures and facades to uplift community narratives and activate public spaces with large scale audiovisual installations. Projectors will be made available for testing. This workshop requires that participants bring a laptop. Please get in touch with any access needs.
