With Support Act Ollie Mae
Our Daughters’ Home: Supportive Housing for Special Needs Women is an organization whose mission is to provide immediate, permanent, safe, supportive housing in the Peterborough area for our adult daughters, all who have developmental disabilities. We are currently composed of seven families and we are growing as we reach other families in similar situations.
Royal Wood
Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Royal Wood has built a celebrated career as one of Canada’s most distinctive and accomplished independent artists. Known for his rich musicianship, sophisticated songwriting and unmistakable voice, Wood has continually evolved his sound while maintaining a singular artistic identity.
His most recent full-length studio album, What Tomorrow Brings, was recognized as “Up for Consideration” for Best Folk Album at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards. Wood has released three albums that debuted in the Top 30, earned multiple JUNO nominations, and is a five-time Canadian Folk Music Award nominee. His work has also made an impact at radio, including a #1 added song at Hot AC.
Wood’s music has reached audiences well beyond the traditional singer-songwriter space, with songs featured in high-profile television series including Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice. His catalogue has amassed millions of streams, with “A Good Enough Day” alone surpassing 4 million streams on Spotify.
As a live artist, Wood has shared stages with some of the most respected names in music. In 2023, he was once again handpicked to open for legendary artist Bonnie Raitt on her Canada-wide tour, marking the second time he had been personally selected to support Raitt. He has also performed alongside artists including David Gray and appeared with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra at Roy Thomson Hall.
Most recently, Wood was nominated for Rock Artist of the Year at the 2026 Western Canadian Music Awards.
In 2025, Wood released Memory Lane, a limited-edition collection of B-sides and rarities available exclusively on vinyl and CD at his live performances. The collection offered a deeper look into an expansive catalogue that continues to resonate with audiences more than two decades into his career.
With a body of work spanning acclaimed recordings, major live performances, sync placements and a loyal international audience, Royal Wood continues to carve out a rare space between singer-songwriter, pop, folk and sophisticated contemporary music.
