Cancer Takedown is an uplifting evening of song, story and solidarity. It is a fundraiser, but more importantly it is a spirit-raiser for anyone touched by cancer. Our ambition is to bring attention to the emotional and mental burden of cancer, uniting people through shared experience. All proceeds go to Cancer Care at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

2026 marks the 5th Annual Cancer Takedown, and we are thrilled to have a killer line-up of performers. Co-hosted by comedic powerhouses Linda Kash and Megan Murphy. Featuring incredible musical performances by Melissa Payne, Kate Suhr, Kate Brioux and our amazing band Nicholas Campbell, Brandon Munroe and Ian McKeown. Special guests Beau Dixon and The Weber Brothers. And the always entertaining Anthony Bastianon alongside the MD supergroup Good Medicine.

For people who have been through cancer, to those in the middle of their fight. For the families, friends and caregivers who rally around them. This is camaraderie. This is community. This is Cancer Takedown.
