The League of Legends Championship Series is the highest level of professional play of LoL in North America. Eight teams compete across three splits throughout the year to claim the title of LCS Champion and a chance to compete against the best regions globally. The LCS takes place in the Riot Games Arena located in Los Angeles, California. The LCS is run by Riot Games.
