All are welcome at the TD LinkUp Kjipuktuk Creative Entrepreneurship Series this October.
On October 8th, 16th and 30th we are hosting networking, vending, food and music events with guest speakers aimed at connecting and support Indigenous creative entrepreneurs and artists. Anyone is welcome to attend to support and celebrate, and Indigenous Creative Entrepreneurs are encouraged to sign up not just to attend, but also to talk, present about or sell your creative products.
Guest speakers from various creative industries will be featured at each event, along with food, music and creative touches to make for a fun, engaging and creative evening featuring and platforming Indigenous creatives.

Oct 8 - Writing, Poetry & Creative Entrepreneurism
We are thrilled to invite you to the Kjipuktuk Authors Showcase and Creative Entrepreneur night at the Light House Art Centre Lobby on October 8th from 7PM-9PM.
This event celebrates authors and provides an opportunity for authors at all stages of their careers, publishers, students, literary organizations, and funders to connect and exchange ideas about the future of the Literacy Industry.
We are thrilled to announce that the evening will include a panel discussion and readings from authors Amanda Peters, Danica Roache, Tiffany Morris, Raymond Sewell, hosted by Mercedes Peters.
In Partnership with TD Linkup, CCTH, The Kings Book Store, Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia.
Oct 16 - Visual Arts, Music & Creative Entrepreneurism.
Join us to meet new people and creative types, and reconnect to peers and friends. After a meal and chat, artists Alan Syliboy and Jordan Bennett will talk about creative entrepreneurism and their art careers. Stay afterwards to connect and chat until 9pm.
People from all backgrounds, experiences and ages are warmly invited to attend and participate in this event.

6pm: Food and connecting
7pm: A filmed talk between Alan Syliboy and Jordan Bennett at 7pm
8pm: Networking with music at 8pm.
All Indigenous creatives are invited to set up displays or vend, and will have time to talk on the mic about their work and business.

Join our community of creatives, artists, professionals and entrepreneurs for our 2024 TD LinkUp wrap!
Engage in meaningful conversation around the future of Indigenous creatives and entrepreneurship!
Enjoy some amazing Indigenous catering while we learn from each other, celebrate, and explore initiatives that aim at supporting our collective future!
Featuring a short panel discussion with leaders in the arts and business sectors, followed by a performance presented by Mi'kmaq Artist Emergence Program from Bear River First Nation (MAEP)
6:30pm: Doors open
7:00pm: Panel discussion featuring Chris Googoo, Bernard Burton, Carol Ann Potter.
8:00pm: Networking and with MEAP Indigenous youth artist performances
8:50pm: Closing remarks
