Samantha Hale is the creator and host of “Horror Nerd,” an all horror themed standup comedy show and podcast. Her latest special, Samantha Hale: Horror Nerd, seen on Apple TV and Amazon Prime, was recently released by Comedy Dynamics, and listed as a top special of the year by LA Times. Samantha has appeared and hosted at comedy clubs worldwide, as well as at more unusual locations such as Midsummer Scream and other conventions, San Diego and Los Angeles Comic Cons, and Missing at the Mortuary, a funeral home-turned-event space that is the subject of HBO’s docuseries The Mortician. Samantha has featured for Jay Leno, Patrick Warburton, Dana Gould, Craig Shoemaker, and many more, as well as headlining her own show in various venues across the country. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Samantha is following in the comedic footsteps of her grandfather, Alan Hale, Jr., best known as The Skipper from Gilligan’s Island, and her great-grandfather, Alan Hale, Sr., who played opposite Errol Flynn in classic Hollywood swashbuckler films.
