Outback Presents is thrilled to announce that following sold-out shows across 20 countries, including the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, rapidly rising stand-up comedian Jake Lambert has announced U.S. dates for his highly anticipated The Sunshine Kid Tour, coming to cities across the country in Spring 2027. The announcement follows huge demand for Lambert's upcoming November 13 headlining show at the New York Comedy Festival, which sold out in under three hours.
Described as “a joke machine” by The Telegraph, Lambert is known for his non-stop, gag-filled storytelling and rapid-fire comedic style. His online videos regularly go viral, amassing more than 750 million views and building a devoted fanbase of 1.2 million followers across social media platforms. Lambert has appeared on the BBC's Live at the Apollo, Comedy Central's Live From The Comedy Store and UKTV's Rosie Jones's Disability Comedy Extravaganza. On the road, he has supported comedy heavyweights including Michael McIntyre, Jack Dee, Romesh Ranganathan and Kerry Godliman on arena and theatre tours around the world.
A seasoned comedy writer, Lambert's credits span some of the UK's biggest shows, including The Ranganation, The Royal Variety Performance, The Apprentice: You're Fired, Bake Off: An Extra Slice, Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Netflix's Flinch, among others. Lambert also hosts the podcast Had Worse Mondays, with new episodes released every Monday on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Lambert told Deadline, “I'm so excited to be bringing my show to the States, and not just because it's the only country where my accent is seen as exotic. Getting to tour America as a British comic is a genuine dream come true. I've heard you could all do with a laugh, so I'll be bringing my best jokes, and also my own tea bags.”
