The Edible Atlas is a global street food festival exploring the flavors, food traditions, and stories that make up our collective plate. Across cultures and continents, food carries stories of migration, memory, tradition, and home. In the Bay Area, those stories come together around a shared table.
Throughout the day, guests can eat their way around the world with standout food trucks and street food artisans, discover local makers, and enjoy live music, performances, and family-friendly activities. From a beloved family recipe to a street food tradition carried across generations, every dish offers a taste of the stories that shape our communities.

Sankofa Urban Farm Stand
Explore where our greens come from and how they made their way to our tables today through a culinary anthropological perspective. Sample fresh microgreens grown at Sankofa Urban Farm while learning about the origins, journeys, and cultural histories of the foods we call soul food.
Sankofa Urban Farms is transforming San Francisco backyards into productive edible gardens, growing fresh fruits and vegetables while building a more just and equitable local food system. The farm prioritizes feeding the Black community and provides fresh, locally grown produce to neighborhood restaurants and free food pantries. By bringing neighbors into the growing process, Sankofa is cultivating both food and community, one garden at a time.
Let’s end hunger, one garden at a time.
Oakland Gleaners Public Fruit Stand
A community fruit stand celebrating the abundance growing in our own backyards. Enjoy rescued local fruit, learn about gleaning, and discover how neighborhood harvests can help reduce food waste and feed the community.
Oakland Gleaners is an all-volunteer organization that picks, packs, and delivers fruit from people’s backyard trees to food distribution networks around the East Bay. Born out of a desire to address the dual issues of food waste and food insecurity, the Gleaners believe that our collective capacity to care for and uplift our neighbors starts from the ground up. Since 2025, we've moved over 8.5 tons of fruit into free and public programs, pantries, and kitchens.
Setting the Table: A Sonic Installation of Food, Migration & Belonging
Setting the Table: A Sonic Installation of Food, Migration & Belonging is an interactive banquet table featuring audio stories from immigrant, refugee, and diasporic communities across the East Bay. Grounded in the belief that food brings us together, that gathering can be joyful, and that there is room for everyone, the installation invites visitors to sit, listen, and celebrate the stories, memories, and traditions that connect us.
