Candidates for the San Francisco congressional meet live onstage for a critical debate –  just before ballots start arriving in the mail for the November election. City Supervisor Connie Chan and State Senator Scott Wiener – both Democrats – present their visions for the future and how they would represent our interests at a pivotal political moment, as former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi prepares to retire after 39 years in Congress.

Co-hosted by KQED's Scott Shafer and Marisa Lagos and The San Francisco Chronicle's Joe Garofoli, the debate will explore issues facing the city, such as affordability, tech and the economy, immigration, foreign conflicts, and the role of San Francisco in national politics.
