Bartees Strange is a genre-blurring artist whose music fuses indie rock, punk, rap, and soul into a deeply personal and emotionally resonant sound. His latest album, Horror, co-produced with Jack Antonoff and the Rothmans, has garnered critical acclaim for its introspective themes and bold stylistic shifts. Praised by outlets like Pitchfork, The New Yorker, and The Guardian, Bartees channels anxiety, identity, and belonging into tracks like “Sober” and “Baltimore” and is quickly gaining a reputation as one of indie music’s most fearless and versatile voices.

AutoCamp Catskills is situated on 37 idyllic acres in the Hudson Valley, located west of the Hudson River (just two hours from New York City). The location features 90 total accommodations, including 63 custom-designed Airstreams, 7 Classic Cabins, 10 Family Cabins, 6 BaseCamp Suites (Airstream + Luxury Tent combo), 4 seasonal Luxury Tents, and 2 ADA-accessible units.

After the show, guests are invited to gather around AutoCamp’s communal fire pit for s’mores under the stars to wind down the evening. The experience continues with screen-printed concert posters for purchase, offering attendees a take-home keepsake. Guests will also enjoy a thoughtful selection of food and beverages sourced from local purveyors, highlighting the region’s vibrant culinary scene. From intimate live music to late-night bites, Sounds Outside is a full-sensory escape designed to connect people through sound, nature, and community.

Sounds Outside event is produced in collaboration with Impact Concerts and Crush Palace.
