The stage name of North Carolina-based DJ, multi-instrumentalist, recording artist, and producer Joel Burleson, Ki:Theory is known as much for his productions and remixes as his angular, synth-based alt-rock. Burleson has released numerous albums and EPs under the moniker, including Brittle Branches(2006), Save Our City (2008), Arms for Legs (2009), Messages: Syntax/Error (2011), and KITTY HAWK (2013). He has also done remix work for Queens of the Stone Age, Daft Punk, Kings of Leon,Brazilian Girls, Hans Zimmer, and Ladytron, and provided original music for television shows like Top Gear and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
