Fred Miller, known artistically as mffred, is an innovative force in the underground music and art scene. Blending the roles of songwriter, performer, filmmaker, and immersive installation artist, Fred creates experiences that transcend traditional boundaries.

With over two decades of experience as a songwriter and performer, Fred has developed a unique sound that fuses groove-heavy rhythms, soulful melodies, and experimental textures. Rooted in the independent music scenes of the Midwest, Fred’s performances are both intimate and electrifying, whether delivering raw, heartfelt solo sets or leading high-energy collaborations with other artists.

Fred’s live shows incorporate a dynamic mix of original compositions and reimagined covers, often performed with a DIY ethos that captures the essence of underground music culture. Their presence in Indianapolis’ growing electronic and alternative music communities has made them a sought-after performer for both traditional venues and unconventional spaces.

Fred’s mission is to push the boundaries of independent music and art, creating experiences that inspire, challenge, and connect. Whether performing on stage, designing an interactive light installation, or capturing a story through film, Fred Miller is redefining what it means to be a modern multimedia artist.
