Please be assured that the health and safety of our community, including artists, patrons, volunteers, staff and other stakeholders, is of the utmost importance to us. Throughout this pandemic we have taken a “best practices” approach, planning, implementing and enforcing health and safety measures that meet or exceed public health directives and social gathering guidelines and risk mitigation strategies established by public health authorities and responsible event organizers. We believe this is the best way to keep our festival and events safe and to protect the health and safety of those who create and attend them. We’re all in this together!
The festival's Waterfront Stage site is entirely wheelchair accessible including all entrances, washrooms, bars, and seating areas.
- Evening Shows: for evening shows, there are a limited number of spaces designed to meet the needs of patrons in wheelchairs. When you purchase your tickets, please email accessibility@halifaxjazzfestival.ca to reserve one of the spaces.
- Daytime Shows: there is no reserved wheelchair seating during the free daytime concerts. All daytime concert seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
