Feist

Widely recognized as one of the most compelling vocalists and songwriters in her genre, Leslie Feist is an 11-time Juno Award-winning solo artist and founding member of Broken Social Scene. Following the breakout success of her sophomore album Let It Die, the Canadian musician went on to achieve international acclaim with 2007’s The Reminder: a gold-certified release that landed on best-of-the-year lists from outlets like Pitchfork, NPR, Spin, and Rolling Stone, in addition to winning Feist the 2007 Shortlist Music Prize. Along with earning four Grammy Award nominations, The Reminder delivered one of the most indelible songs of the 2000s with “1234,” a Billboard Hot 100-charting single that paved the way for Feist’s appearance on such iconic shows as “Saturday Night Live” and “Sesame Street.” Arriving in 2011, her fourth full-length Metals was hailed as the album of the year by New York Times chief popular music critic Jon Pareles, and later won the 2012 Polaris Music Prize. In 2017 Feist released her most recent album Pleasure, accompanied by a storytelling podcast series entitled “Pleasure Studies”, which was named "Podcast of the Year" by Apple Podcasts.

Jenn Grant’s music is deeply empathetic and generous of heart, so of course one day she would invite the whole country to make it with her.
 
Champagne Problems, her eighth album and first in the producer’s chair alongside partner Daniel Ledwell, gathers 13 musicians from coast to territory to coast in a series of collaborative Canadian magic tricks spun into classic country, lost disco hits, and ruminative folk fables.
 
Enriched with Canadian talent, - including Afie Jurvanen (Bahamas), Amy Millan (Stars), Aquakultre, Basia Bulat, Dan Mangan, Hannah Georgas, Joel Plaskett, Josh Qaumariaq, Kevin Drew (Broken Social Scene), Kim Harris, Ria Mae, Slow Leaves, Tim Baker- Champagne Problems is a unique musical experience that could have only come out of extenuating circumstances, willing partners, and profound vulnerability. It could have only come out of Jenn Grant.

In the case of an event cancellation without a rescheduled date, a full refund will be automatically issued to each patron on the credit card used to purchase. 19 + for all evening shows in the festival's TD Main Stage located on the Halifax waterfront (ID required).

**For ticket holders under 19 years, you need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (you will be asked to show ID) and they will be required to be onsite with you and be responsible for your supervision at the festival's TD Main Stage on the Halifax waterfront. This is because of the festival's license to sell alcohol. If the concert is designated 19+ and not at the TD Main Stage, then you are not able to attend. 

Subject to capacity, children under 10 may accompany ticket-holding parents or legal guardians free of charge.

For evening shows the TD Main Stage is general admission standing only. It is an open-air venue and all concerts are rain or shine. No cash or credit refunds.

A Facility Fee of $3.45 will be added at checkout
