Bay Area-bred Katie Cash is a singer-songwriter-guitarist known for her emotionally charged songs and passionate performances. Her debut solo album, "Gift Horse," won an Independent Music Award, featuring her distinct roots-rock storytelling style addressing themes of love, heartbreak, and self-reflection.

Beyond her solo career, Cash is part of two prominent Bay Area bands: Skip the Needle, a socially-conscious female funk-rock group, and Year of the Fist, a mixed-gender quartet with punk-infused energy.

"Gift Horse" reflects Cash's musical evolution, featuring tracks like "Year Gone By" and "Broken Nights." Produced by Julie Wolf, the album includes guest appearances by notable artists such as Kris Delmhorst, Dawn Richardson, and Allison Miller.

Proud of the collaborative effort behind "Gift Horse," Cash looks forward to bringing its music to audiences through touring and festivals. She plans to release singles in the coming year, expressing gratitude for the support of her talented collaborators and remaining focused on her ongoing journey of writing, creating, and sharing music.
