The Bay Area debut of the highly awaited B2B is finally here. Having opened for Daft Punk's Todd Edwards among other illustrious guests, Gum's delicate afrofuturist tinged house has transitioned from the microscenes of outsider music, elaborate liquid drum and bass, and a packed tapping of jazz. His discography is rich, and he's been acclaimed for his sets online such as his viral Elevator Music hour. Gum also expands on a site-wide academic library [https://gum.studio/library] to support his rich discography of projects such as the latest Black Life Red Planet, an album on why the colonization of Mars is not spiritually and theologically suitable. Meanwhile, Swami Sound provides some alternative rnb and UK influence to the ambience, but is never afraid to turn the dials up a couple notches. He is best known for his new Back in the Day project, stretching connections to Miami alt pop and electro. The duo most recently headlined a festival at Chicago's historic Lincoln Hall.

It takes one second to look at Galen Tipton's cover art and a split millisecond to envision how the wizardry of bright eye bleach color could inflect her wonderful combinations of hyperpop, wonky and jersey club. Born and raised in Ohio with connections to local acts turned vaporwave legends like Death's Dynamic Shroud, her rattling BPMS are a dopamine pushpit, until you turn to her sudden yet fine tuned collections of collaborations and sweet ambient ramblings unraveling like yarn.

MJ Nebreda

Industrial reggaeton with an urge of deconstructed club and Miami bounce, it's no shock that MJ Nebreda is enduringly and endearingly pulling her way into the same avant garde clique as Arca or Rosalia. Their decibels (figuratively) shut down local broad tent rock/electronic ill Points festival by way of their individualized accent over Venezuelan raptor house and rapid formative ideation of their gender identity. Their two most recently critically acclaimed mixtapes (ex: Pitchfork) are 2023's Arepa and last year's Corazon Club Volume 1, and their collaborations w/ other Venezuelan stars are celebratory and plentiful.

A pioneer of sample based drill music, plugg, and now Milwaukee lowend, Bronx artist Polo Perks rushes in for his first ever appearance in the Bay Area. Rising up as an associate of the art collective Surf Gang, Polo's alt rock sheen has sampled everything from newly defined indie mainstays like Hotline TNT and Current Joys to off kilter yet timeless flips of the Legend of Zelda game Ocarina of Time and Wizard of Oz's Over the Rainbow. With such a sonic range, there's no predicting what will be sampled next. His 8 min American Pie EP, featuring production from sound collage artist Quinn and Atlanta friend (and Lowertown opener) Feardorian is hot off the presses.

As doors open, Santa Cruz x East Bay native Gabemtnz (pronounced Gabe m t n z) streams an exclusive mix of old school meets new school dance, emo passioned electro and drum and bass breaks ahead of his new project Desert. His remix EP Computer Angels, has still been making the rounds for its jungle flavored flips of Beabadobee and Denzel Curry fan favorites.
