Rory Block is a legendary blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter, known for her powerful and authentic interpretations of traditional country blues and her own original compositions. Born in Princeton, NJ, she grew up in Manhattan and was immersed in the Greenwich Village folk music scene, where she met influential figures like Bob Dylan and Maria Muldaur. At 15, she embarked on a journey to learn directly from blues legends like Skip James and Mississippi John Hurt, becoming a prominent figure in the blues world.

Rory will be releasing a new record in late 2025 on the New York-based M.C. Records label.  Rory talks about the upcoming record:

"I am very excited to announce that I will be a recording a brand new project for M.C. Records! I expect to be tapping into my lifelong love of American roots blues, celebrating the founders and best of the classic blues legends, and maybe some of my own originals. The recording will be filled with slide, overlapping acoustic parts, and funky rhythms. Can’t wait to get started!!"

LOCAL OPENER! Tebo Unplugged

Tebo was raised in Menlo Park, East Palo Alto, California. He became interested in music at the age of five and by eight, he was singing in the Belle Haven Elementary School singing group, The Junior Temptations. His music journey continued at Menlo Oaks Junior High School.

Breaking two strings on a cheap guitar led him to use it as a bass until his mom could afford to buy him a real one from Swain's House of Music in Palo Alto.

At Menlo Oaks, music teacher Mr. Thomas pointed out that Tebo played guitar left-handed and upside down. When asked if it was comfortable, Tebo said yes—and it became his signature style.
