Mads Tolling is two-time Grammy Award-winning violinist and composer from Copenhagen, Denmark, now based in the San Francisco Bay Area. A former member of both Stanley Clarke's band and the Turtle Island Quartet, Mads has performed with renowned artists like Chick Corea, Ramsey Lewis, Paquito D’Rivera, and Leo Kottke. He is currently a part of The Wolf Pack, touring with Bob Weir & Wolf Bros, and has recorded on Weir’s Live in Colorado Vol 1 & 2, and Ace 50th Anniversary from Radio City Music Hall.

With hundreds of concerts worldwide, he leads Mads Tolling & The Mads Men and recorded the album Playing the 60s, which reimagines songs from 1960’s TV, film and radio. The set list includes “A Taste of Honey,” and “All Along the Watchtower,” and “Wichita Lineman.” The release topped US jazz radio charts and peaked at #5.

Joining Mads this evening for a special performance is 11-time Grammy Award-winning vocalist Tony Lindsay. Tony was the lead vocalist with Carlos Santana for 25 years and recorded on Supernatural and Shaman. He is a masterful entertainer with one of the most iconic soulful voices around.
