The Crosby Collective is a like-minded community of Grammy-nominated musicians, celebrated artists, close friends, and accomplished creatives who come together to create timeless sonic experiences that feed the soul with feelgood music.
The brainchild of Bay Area musician Jason Crosby, The Crosby Collective pushes the outer limits of musical exploration and expression while creating a live atmosphere that charges the spirit through a vibrant current of phonic movement and innovation.
The Crosby Collective’s latest offerings blend some of music's most iconic songs and artists in a “mashup” of harmonic bliss through pairing tracks culled from everything from The Grateful Dead, to Led Zeppelin, to Taylor Swift, and even Michael Jackson. Comprised of some of the world’s greatest musicians, The Crosby Collective seamlessly molds the melodies, notes, riffs, and lyrics we know and love into an entirely new musical identity.
Equipped with its core group of musicians and artists, as well as several other esteemed players and collaborators, The Crosby Collective is setting out to spread their message of community, creativity, and peace to concert halls and music venues across the country.
Special Guest Melvin Seals
Melvin Seals is a legendary American keyboardist, renowned for his soulful Hammond B-3 organ work with the Jerry Garcia Band (JGB) for nearly two decades, helping define "jam band" music with his blend of funk, rock, R&B, and gospel. Nicknamed the "Master of the Universe," he continues Jerry Garcia's legacy by leading his own band, Melvin Seals & JGB, touring extensively and delivering spontaneous, high-energy shows that keep the spirit of the JGB alive.
Special Guest Jackie Greene
Americana and roots singer-songwriter Jackie Greene is a jack-of-all-trades, and an artist who can croon over soulful piano ballads as much as he can shred a bluesy guitar solo (like he did as the lead guitarist for The Black Crowes in 2013). A road warrior and musician's musician, Greene's new EP 'The Modern Lives - Vol 2' (out October 2018 on Blue Rose Music) finds him at a new chapter in his life: his first months of fatherhood, time off his relentless touring circuit, and a cross-country move from Brooklyn to his birthplace of Northern California.
