Blues legend Bobby Rush is co-headlining with Modern Mississippi Hill Country band North Mississippi Allstars. Each artist will perform their own set before they join together to honor their Mississippi blues roots.
About BOBBY RUSH
The 91-year-old Rush is a three-time Grammy® Award winner for “Best Traditional Blues Album” for “Porcupine Meat,” “Rawer than Raw” and 2024’s “All My Love For You.” He is also a 16-time Blues Music Awards winner (with 56 career nominations), and has been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame, Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame and Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame. Rush never slows down, from his involvement in the hit film “Sinners” written and directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Ryan Coogler and starring Michael B. Jordan, a new album with multi-platinum artist Kenny Wayne Shepherd titled “Young Fashioned Ways”; a U.S. and European tour, his first-ever Grand Ole Opry performance with Shepherd, and a much anticipated Austin City Limits performance.

About NORTH MISSISSIPPI ALLSTARS
NMA started by brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson in 1996 as a loose collective of musicians from their North Mississippi home, inspired by their father Jim Dickinson as well as neighbors and musical elders of their community; RL Burnside, Junior Kimbrough, Otha Turner and Fred McDowell. Back in the day, the Allstars came up with the phrase Modern Mississippi Music to describe their infectious collision of styles and attitudes: an obsession with Mississippi Hill Country and Sacred Steel cross-bred with their stoner/punk/psychedelic jams. They have shared the stage with numerous legends over the years, including Phil Lesh, Mavis Staples, Robert Plant, John Hiatt, the Allman Brothers, The Black Crowes, Buddy Guy, Snoop Dogg, and Jon Spencer to name a few, while earning multiple Grammy® nominations for their acclaimed experimental albums. Their latest album, Still Shakin’, is out now.
