Friends, pals and confidants – get ready to laugh your way through a fan gathering and celebration that will please even the most ardent “Golden” fans!

Golden-Con:Thank You For Being a Fan, will welcome fans from all over the world March 31-April 2, 2023 to the gorgeous Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk and its massive 125,000 square feet of meeting and convention space. 

Fans and Super-Fans will gather together for a fun-filled weekend to celebrate their love of TV’s most revered comedy with laughter–and friendship–and lots of cheesecake!  Events for the Fan Convention include live “The Lost Episodes” parody shows from Hell In a Handbag Productions (http://www.handbagproductions.org); a Mother of a Solid Gold Dancer Disco Dance Party, a “Biggest Gift” Vendors Market, the “Chicago: You’ve Got Style” costume parade; specially themed nightlife events; and a weekend-long battle to Grab! That! Trivia! Dough! 

Golden-Con organizers will announce special Golden Guests weekly leading up to Golden-Con weekend. 

Golden Guests from the inaugural 2022 event included original theme song singer, Cindy Fee, Stan Zimmerman (writer, producer “The Golden Girls” season one), Marsha Posner Williams (producer), Lyn Greene (young Dorothy), Alan Blumenfeld (Mr. Ha-Ha), Hilary Shepard (Yvonne “Rites of Spring” episode), Amelia Kinkade (actor on Golden Girls and real-life niece of Rue McClanahan), Bonnie Bartlett (Barbara Thorndyke), Melinda McClanahan (Rue McClanahan’s sister); and Marc Sotkin (Executive Producer and Head Writer).
