Goldfinger is an American punk rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1994. The original members were guitarist and vocalist John Feldmann, bassist and vocalist Simon Williams, and drummer Darrin Pfeiffer, who all worked at the same shoe store at the time. Shortly after, Feldmann's friend Charlie Paulson joined the band, playing his first show just a day after receiving a tape of their songs to learn. The band's name is inspired by the Ian Fleming book and the 1964 James Bond movie "Goldfinger.
