What happens when you fill a room with your favorite musicians, friends, collaborators, creators and beautiful humans, and invite them to make something together?
The Giving Room Experiment.
On Friday, November 27th, we’re transforming the Fox Theatre into one big living room and inviting you to come make yourself at home. The stage itself will be transformed into a cozy living room, creating a comfortable, intimate space where artists can settle in, collaborate, and let the music unfold together.
This isn’t a traditional concert. There’s no wall between the stage and the community, and no telling exactly what might happen. It’s a musical family gathering, a collaborative experiment, and a celebration of what becomes possible when we show up to give, receive, create, connect and play together.
And because this is The Giving Room, the giving extends beyond the music. $3 from every ticket sold will go directly to the Four Winds Foundation, supporting indigenous families on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota with basic needs, including helping keep the lights and heat on through the winter.
The night will unfold organically, beginning with an opening prayer and intention-setting led by visionaries and women elders, grounding the room in gratitude and reminding us why we’ve gathered.
From there, the music begins. Acoustic instruments. Voices. Songs shared among friends. Expect artists sitting in on one another’s songs. Unexpected collaborations. Conscious lyrics and soulful voices. Acoustic medicine giving way to bass, beats and movement. Friends becoming bandmates for a song. And eventually, a full living-room dance party as DJs and musicians trade sounds, jump in with one another and take us wherever the night wants to go.

On the other side of Tubby Love is SUPERPOWERS, his electronic, remix-driven and more pop-forward project. SUPERPOWERS takes the heart and message at the core of Tubby’s songwriting and sends it through a different sonic universe: bigger beats, electronic production, remixes, hooks, and dance-floor energy. It’s a more playful and expansive side of his artistry, allowing familiar songs and ideas to take on entirely new lives while opening the door to a broader world of electronic and pop collaboration.
Now stepping into Tubby Love 2.0, he is bringing his heart-forward message into a bigger, sharper, and more intentional chapter - one centered on new music, elevated live experiences, deeper storytelling, and community-building at scale.
