SBTV20, this November, for one night only. Every generation of the scene comes together, for one of the biggest music & grime events of the last 20 years - the pioneers who built it, the artists who carried it into the charts, and the new generation carrying the scene forward. With a lineup that will never be assembled the same way twice.

This is a celebration of the culture - and of the lasting legacy of founder Jamal Edwards MBE.

In 2006, 15 year old Jamal Edwards was given a video camera for Christmas. He started filming his friends spitting bars on the local estate, 2007 saw the first of these videos getting uploaded to his Youtube channel, SBTV, named after his own MC alias, Smokey Barz.

At the time, grime lived on pirate radio and street-corner DVDs. The mainstream wasn't listening. SBTV changed that. The channel became the place where British music was documented as it actually happened - unfiltered, unsigned and unmissable.

SBTV gave artists the platform to be seen, some of them are now household names: Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Dave, Skepta, Jessie J, Lady Leshurr, Mist and countless more. It grew into a media platform in its own right, curating festival stages and taking a camera from the estates of west London to the doors of Downing Street. Jamal Edwards was awarded an MBE for services to music in 2015, aged 24.

Twenty years on from where it all began, SBTV comes to the O2, with a lineup that’ll go down in history!
